I’m installing one on the frame slightly rear of the underside drivers area.
Amazon sells the hose and fittings at a much lower cost than the racor kit
I’m not going to use the bottom npt for a return to dump drain…going to put a petcock drain valve there .
they are back ordered 30 days so this will probally arrive first half of May.
By all means post up... I'm thinking I could run my current hoses down on the outside, past the steering linkage to the frame. Buy more in a longer length, cut off the hose I have now off the adapters for when I moved my catch can to sit on top of the electrical box there by the driver's side quarter panel (on top of a piece of 2"x6) to make room for the S&S filter, and figure out on what to do down there at the can by the frame... that's what I was thinking, driver's side frame by front of door or in that general area... I believe the hose I.D. is 5/8" now... it would require some "good enough for gov't work" engineering for sure...
You'll be the guinea pig first bud... You already have the thread started...
Not sure on the exact hose and fittings….figured I’d try this and if it doesn’t match up send it back.
The stock CCV hose clamps on to my intake using a 1 3/16 tube (1 3/16 hose inside and 1 3/16 metal tube out side), so I’m planning on something in that area.
the racor can has 1-3/16"-12 SAE port openings on the model 4500.
so I think the Amazon fitting will go into the racor can on one side and give me plenty of threads on the other side to clamp on a 1 1/4 ID hose, which would slip nicely onto my pusher intake CCV connection port.
couldn’t find an official hose fitting…if I do…I’ll switch gears to that.
ordering the hose and fittings when I get a shipment notice on the racer can.

a good place to mount stuff to is where the two bolts are for the transfer case cross over bracket.
you can use angle iron if you need a shelf or use square stock if you need a wall. For the wall drill a large hole on the square stock on one side then on the opposite surface where the gadget mounts drill an actual size bolt hole. Slip the bolt thru the large hole and put a nut on it, then slide the gadget on to the bolts and use another set of nuts to hold it down.
A other idea is a metal plate at the same spot where the two transfer case crossover bracket mounts.
heres a real heavy filter. Plate is set up to hide high close to the body . Mount the plate to the frame first using those two bolts, then mount the gadget to the plate.
for the racor can I’ll be taking down the drivers side pass thru filter and using that spot with a metal plate.
ill replace the pass thru filter with something else that I can mount in front of the fuel tank cavity.
It's on my radar now... I have to see first... My FS2500 bypass is on that side by the transfer case "skid" plate, not really that HD, and my Air Dog will go on the drivers side as well so this will be a plan in the future...
And the hose from the CCV box is just made of plastic...

Yeah that might do it for a potential spot for the Racor. I'll get underneath there and get a pic. I believe my bypass is before, towards the front end, of the skid plate.
Plus 3/4 inch 90 degree elbows could be sourced since the can will be low and work well with this application. Depending on what they cost, Parker already sells 90 deg adapters for the CCV4500 ports. Same page as the 3/4 hose barb adapters.

Once the weather breaks in Wisconsin for good (pretty soon) I'm going to attack my ccv reroute...conventional aftermarket kit on the valve cover, with the six feet of hose and its going to be tapped into a home made 4" pvc pipe with caps on each end mounted under the cab vertically, top cap will be drilled with vent holes, a 90 degree elbow going into it and the bottom cap will have a drain **** installed. Unit will be approx. 4"-5" tall. Pics will follow.
