that looks like a better design.....the one I bought had a simular setup...but..you could unscrew with a pair of pliers becuase the bolt heads were cap bolt design leaving plenty to grab.....this one looks like grabbing the bolt head would be harder.
I had been keeping my eye on those to finally become available for quite awhile, but was disappointed when I saw the pricing. I had anticipated them being more comparable to the BEM caps. Even at the pre order discount I can't justify that much for some locking caps.

I know what you mean. But with the way our currency has been devalued I don't believe the manufacturer is getting rich off these. I like the design and the quality looks good so I pulled the trigger. Will post some pics when they arrive.

I got an email about these several days ago… at first it didn’t ring a bell and I deleted it thinking it was some sort of spam. Then I got another one so I clicked on it…. And I sorta remembered… but then I saw the price. I just can’t do it. My locking Stant cap is doing great. I would still like to have one for the DEF but not at this price. And I’m not saying I don’t think they’re worth it, but just that it’s not worth it to me.
Man this is awesome, but way down on the list for me due to price, I bought 2 pair of radiator hose pinch off pliers, $20~30 on the zon, to use on the hoses under the bed when I am concerned about someone putting stuff in my tanks. Pukes it right back on them and leaves a puddle.
That’s pretty spendy. I just ordered the BEM combo which is bad enough, especially considering the shipping and taxes to get it over here.
I have the BEM kit but I hate that you are unthreading vs unlocking it. It got annoying so I am back to my locking stant cap. If someone wants my BEM kit I'd be willing to sell it (was on my truck for one fill-up).

I like the idea of a quarter turn.
you’re right about that, I may just use the DEF cap if it gets too annoying as I already have a cheap plastic cap for the diesel.
I'm going to pull the trigger on these... I've always worried about someone dumping crap into my DEF tank.... driving a diesel ain't cheap... and with the line of work I'm in, you never know.

I'll let the thread know when I do.
Looking forward to your review. Locking Diesel cap is a must! If someone contaminated my DEF tank it would not totally destroy the engine so I am a little less worried about that.

@jollyrogr deserves the credit for the find... I do have a Stant locked diesel fill cap now... but I do like the idea of a locked DEF cap as well and will probably use the set and put the Stant on the shelf.
