Holes in the door

I have a 1977 F250 CS regular cab and there are 2 holes in the leading edge of both doors. I just got the truck back from paint and body and noticed them and have no idea what, if anything was in them. Can someone tell me what they are for? Thanks. Jack

Pictures might help us help you figure this out. The body shop must have thought that they were needed for something.

Speaker wires would be about the only use.

On the upper leading/fwd inner edge of the door? And it is ONE hole? Maybe OEM door speaker wiring if it is one hole. Is it across from this hole in the cab? That is for OEM door speakers wiring. Is it across from the dome light button?

Or is it like in the lower A pillar part of the door? If there then some one had West Coast type 3 tow mirrors on it and and that is for the 3rd leg.

Looks sortof like 3 holes missing 3 small self threading screws that once secured the vent wing frame. The person doing the work may have forgot them, or just gave up aligning them with the frames? I wouldn't have removed them unless replacing the vent wing frame / rubber.

As mentioned above, vent window screws. Go to the local hardware store and pick up some stainless hardware.
