Morning all. Last day in Vegas. Headed home tomorrow after we decided to stay an extra day. Actually had a great time here baking in the sun by the pool and felt like I got a recharge. Got a killer tan too. Didn't do much time on the strip, most of my time was at the house in Henderson which I have grown to like. Not bad at all.
Icing on the cake was the SIL took 4th place at the Run For A Million Saturday night and took home a $75K check. I think he should of got 2nd place but judges are judges and politics is well just that. The entire arena Boo'd the score, so I'm sure there will be a lot of chatter in the Reining world for weeks to come. It is what it is and we are proud of Gabe and Macy's hard work and the accomplishment. Time to fire up the blender for our last day. cheers!
Rich - sounds like you are having way too much fun.
When we were doing the ApHC show circuit years ago, we usually looked at the ApHc Journal and a couple of other horse publications. The Trainers & breeders with the most full page & purdiest adds were who you put your money on.
From what my sister tells me, the dog show circuit of today is about the same. And then there are the judges fetish for certain blood lines…..
Being a ‘Road Master’ now, any idea what these stakes in the picture are? They are only in this one small area/section and are solar powered for something, (Data transmission or recording?)
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 36 with a bright full moon.
Smoke hasn’t been really noticeable here at Bravo since the last thunder & rain storms came through.
