Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Smoke is settling in worse than it has been. There was an air quality alert issued a couple of hours ago for our area that lasts until 2300.
Bugs brought his mate out to play tonight. They went back under the deck for bedtime (I hope) a little bit ago. Wouldn't want them out in the yard when Wile E Coyote makes his nightly rounds.
Strange with the Wabbits. We've seen evidence and know they were there ever since we started getting moved into the place up here just over a year ago. When the snow is on the ground, we would see bunny tracks leading out into the yard from the deck. Sometimes they would go to the well house and other times all the way to the pole barn. A few weeks ago I saw a baby bunny running around in the Pole barn and we've seen a couple from the second story window running in under the utility trailer parked behind the pole barn.
It hasn't been until 3 days ago though, that we got to meet the wabbits that have been living under the decks. This evening is the first time we've seen a pair sitting right by the hot tub deck munching away on grass.
Kind of relaxing sitting back and watching them nibbling away on the grass. They are pretty skittish, but one of them is getting pretty bold with venturing into the yard and eating when he knows we're there and watching. The mate he brought with him tonight is still in the "I'm a frozen statue and figment of your imagination" mode.

 

Really smoky here......I didn't venture out much.

Raining here, started about 3:30 and currently have 0.15 inches in the bucket.

Leaving for the Valley in a few minutes. Warden has two appointments this week and I have to supervise a Security System upgrade at the YCSA.

We made it to Mac without incident. Appt #1 went OK, made a huge dent on the credit card, but she is on the way to getting her new teeth.

On the bright side, I’m building up CABELAS points so fast, the next ‘free’ rifle isn’t far away.
