Mine is still the same, no change or no different and have not been able to figure out what it is. I wonder if this is actually a 2023+ and newer truck symptom. @rydaddy might come along and update as he spent a lot of time on this. I've read on places other than this forum where people have the same issue, but no one has ever mentioned a resolution.
Thanks for the info! They have performed the accelerated break in on the valve body (no change) but I will certainly bring these up next time I am there.
hello I am new here and just got a new 2025 f350 and I have this same noise happening. Any chance you found a solution to this issue?
Just checking in to tell you, you aren’t crazy. My brand new 2026 with 800 miles is doing this, and did it on my initial test drive at 9 miles. At that time I chalked it up to be it was so new and breaking in. Same thing as you, very slight clunk when backing up then switching from reverse to drive. Then as you start rolling a distinct louder “clunk” from what sounds like the bed to cab area after you’ve all ready started rolling forward. At this point no alarm so I’m not taking it in, but same deal.
I have found many threads on this issue for the 23+ trucks with no resolution.

Thank y'all for all of the interest and help with this issue.
11,000 miles on my truck now, still clunks.
No failures of any kind.
I did install a PPE aluminum pan and new filter several thousand miles ago, fluid looked good and minimal debris in the filter.
Getting the pan in place was a a little tricky maneuvering around the exhaust.
