Possibly what you’re hearing is the ABS pump self test.
listen for the noise behind and below the drivers-side headlight.
The vacuum pump is on the passenger inner fender in front of HVAC blower assembly.

yup,
going to have my daughter turn the Key ON, while I am outside with the hood up.
I can't move fast enough to turn the key on, and get to the front of the truck before that Buzz starts up.
