I have a 92 f150 with the manual door locks and the passenger side does not lock or unlock from the outside. The little interior pin can be pushed up and down to open it but it doesn’t work from the outside. Any tips? Simple fix?
You gotta take the door panel off. There is a rod inside that goes from the key lock cylinder to the door latch assembly. This has become dislodged and perhaps the retainer clip (plastic) is broken.
Right, the rod has come off most likely
The little plastic rod retainer clip might be broken
I used to replace lock sets in these trucks without pulling the door panels
You might be able to fish that rod out and replace the little clip without pulling the door panel

Where is the rod supposed to be connected to at the top
Bummer
The tab is broken on the white clip (you will not be able to reattach it to the lock cylinder)
I have a few, they are cheap if you can find them
The new white clips
They come with a lockset on the new lock cylinders
You can replace the cylinder without taking the panel off on most of them
You can also fish out the rod that AAA breaks on some of the others like yours
Good luck
