Pusher intake
getting better boost…don’t know if I had loose tubing before and the new tubing fixed it due to proper tightening
the dpf % soot started creeping…so at least that is t broken
temps in the engine bay dropped big time…so if the truck is rolling…it’s probally fine.

yesterday after the install I was checking things out and was idling for quite a while…when I checked the heat at various places along the tubes…I was surprised how hot the pipes were.
but today driving around town I checked the pipes when I got back and the tube temps were 50 to 75 degrees less than yesterdays idle temps.
i don’t know what oem temps are so I have nothing to go by.
my heat proof tape will arrive today. Plan on heat proofing the wires and hoses in the area of the pusher tubes.
i am also thinking about removing the sound proof blanket so that heat can more easily transfer to the hood. That sound proof blanket sits pretty low and I don’t think it helps cool things off.

Just called the phone number and a female voice message comes on, so it appears they are still in business...

interesting product…and not too costly.
i have a black truck so it may be more forgiving on cut hack install on a set of these.
Make sure you peruse the site. Lots of stuff to read.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts

They make one for F150s, the 2015 to 2020s, specifically... if someone where to install the big center one, you'd have to make to fabricate a "gutter" so to speak, out of the sheet metal cut out, to keep rain and melted snow off the alternator and drive belt if the hole was over those.
The one I was considering for the center of the hood was called
WideFlow™ Hood Louvers Hi-Flow™ (32" X 17")
but they no longer offer it. It says that mounted closer to the front, it increases air flow through the radiator and mounted closer to the rear of the hood, heat from engine bay is extracted.I got the “full package” from Pusher which included hot and cold side charge tubes along with the coolant re-route. This truck already has the cai when I bought it so I decided to leave that the same for now. I installed this by myself in my barn in approx 6.5hrs. The worse part for me was the bolts on the back side of intake near the firewall.
I’ve been running it for a few weeks and I definitely noticed lower egts, probably 200* lower on a good pull I’d say. Also a tiny bit more sound, but in a good way. Could also be little quicker spool up, but maybe it’s the “justification” affect 🤣
Yes it’s expensive, but I was going to do hot and cold side anyway. Love how it cleans the engine bay up and peace of mind.

And yeah on the back bolts, especially the inside one on the passenger side. I recently installed the S&S DPK gen 2...

Spec'd out with raw finish, plus an upcharge of $200 for 2020+ models, and including the hot-side plumbing, ended up being $1,650. This one also comes with an extra bung for tapping into.

And if anyone ever has a problem or needs a replacement for the stock hot pipe boot at the turbo, these guys offer one...

But I have to admit, I like SPE's hot pipe because the O-ring for the turbo adapter is thicker than factory... and they state than other competitors.
