As my friend would say, "boyhood dreams." Checked off a bucket list item. New BendPak four post lift installed, albeit in my dad's garage 15 mins away.
Jim, good luck with your truck, I think you will be just fine.
Last night's dinner, vegan pizza, with two kinds of cheeses, home made chicken sausage and all the fixings.
Does vegan pizza have cheese?
Are there any leftovers?

Is there enough room along that wall to work on that side of the car? It looks pretty tight for getting a wheel off to Install a lift kit.
So is that going to be available for NorCal Chapter use...... In case Jim drives up from Fresno?
How did you source the lift? Assuming it's not ordered from Amazon, is there a local company? Did they also install it?

Man that looks nice! My buddy had one before he moved to Idaho. They sure are handy if you have the room.
That was a joke son! I don't think vegan pizza has anything good on it.
No leftovers, we need to work on the dough but it was still pretty darn good.
What kind of flour do you use when making pizza dough?
Believe it or not, my ex actually thought: "Cheese is made from the cow's milk, and the cow is a vegetarian animal."
I make pizza dough the same way that I make bread. Hot water. Sugar. Yeast. Let the yeast bubble up and foam. Takes maybe 15 or 20 minutes. Add flour and a little salt. Start mixing. Unfortunately, I don't have any idea what the portions are. I kind of do it by eye. I add flour, mix, then more as needed, until I get a ball of dough. I just use the plain flour that's the cheapest. Whatever the store has on sale, or there's a coupon.
Trader Joe's sells pizza dough in the refrigerated section. I've tried it. It's really good. And cheap.

It's a little tight, but I wanted it pretty much centered in the garage door there. There's room to pull off a wheel, even the Shelby and the 20x13's with 345's haha. I bought it through my friend who's a Snap-On guy. He arranged a pretty sweet deal, even if he's Snap On. The company that wholesales them lined up their installer. He's installed over 3000 of them and does about 20 a month he said. Delivery was $600 and install was $900 which turned out to be a bargain as it took that very experienced guy and his assistant about a day and a half to get it all done. Electrical is probably another $2k or so I'm guessing. My electrician is on speed dial these days and doing about $20k worth of work at my house.

Congrats man!
Thanks! I've always wanted one and my dad was threatening to boot my Falcon out of his shop so this is the compromise I came up with. It's only about 15 mins from my house and one stop light to get there.

Man I miss the Man Town Nor Cal FTE GTG's. Those were the days.
Tomorrow is the big day. I doubt I will get any sleep tonight. LOL. I went to the Tuesday night Bible study this evening, and at the end, I mentioned I bought a truck and how the Lord helped reduce my costs so far. I also mentioned the truck was still sitting about a mile away because I am waiting for the VA to approve the scooter lift, and Geico to approve my insurance. Well, today, I decided to contact other insurance companies to see if I could get insurance quicker. And after the Bible study the leader of the group called me and asked if he could take me over to the truck so I could bring it home. I said yes, but tomorrow morning would be better as it would give me a chance to take it to the Red Carpet place for a smog test/oil change and wash. He will stop by tomorrow morning about 8:15am, and the Red Carpet opens at 8:30am. He also suggested contacting USAA for auto insurance since they deal exclusively with veterans. I just finished buying insurance from their website so I will be legal tomorrow. I wanted the same coverage I had with Geico, but in order to do that, they wanted $265 up front. Couldn't do that, so for now I have just over the California minimum. However, I will upgrade that next month if possible. I still have enough to cover the Red Carpet services, and enough for the 30-day temp permit from the DMV. I will be so happy to finally park this thing in my own carport.
