I finally remembered to check the engine temp at completely cold. This is my readings.
Seems like a fairly significant temperature difference on Intake Air for a completely cold engine. How long had it been since the past time the engine was run? Then again it could just be the day heating up. Hard to tell. Also, your EBP is a bit high. I like to see .5 psi difference or less, yours is 1.2 psi higher.
Like John said though - nail down the fueling.
I had a fuel pump relay that would act up more when hot than when cold.
Post your EBPvoltage as well as pressure. WOuld be nice to correlate the two.
And I agree with the above as well - need to figure out fuel pressure for sure! That's a MUST on these trucks. However, that being said, I would think that the PCM wouldn't command the VGT to 15% just because of low fuel pressure, seeing as it doesn't even MONITOR fuel pressure, right? Or am I going about this wrong?

The engine had no been run since the night before so it should have been dead cold.
I thought I had a gauge but the one I have only reads to 30psi. I would need to buy a new gauge and fittings. I just serviced the fuel filters as well as the air filter (all new) at the bigining of may. Trouble started long before that, but admitedly could still be a failing fuel pump.

You are correct, the PCM does not moniter fuel pressure or base oil pressure in psi.
Im using torque pro and do not see a pid for EBP voltage. Im going to check online to see if it can be add manually.
Cleaned, and reinstalled the turbo again and the problem presists. New VGT solenoid will be installed tomorrow, and ill get a pressure gauge and fittings to check the fuel pressure.
PSA - dont mash the fuel filter by 8nstalling wrong. -$70 buecaue I dont trust it now.
Couldnt find a EBP pid for voltage for torque pro
Removed, cleaned, installed tubro, checked all hoses and tubes.
installed the old vgt solenoid to test the engine before installing the new vgt solenoid
While I had the tubro out, I cut the butt conectors out and hard soldered the wires back together. Retaped and installed the wiring.
Currently the truck is running great. Fingers crosed it lasts.
