how much boost

I got my gauges installed and wondering if everything seems right

100 hp tune... 15 psi boost @ 3200 rpm
140 extreme tune... 18 psi boost @ 2900 rpm...had to get out of the go pedal because pyro reached 1200*

Is these the normal boost levels for a e 99?

I did this with a PHP 25hp Heavy Tow tune, pulling the grade out of the Columbia river basin.
Wastegate connected.

.
Look for the usual suspects, turbo up pipes leaking, broken exhaust pressure sensor tube, loose intake boots, wastegate rod set too loose.

Check for leaks on the boost side of turbo, ie: pipes and aftercooler, low manifold pressure and high exhaust temps sometimes means air leaks.

Yep -- that's very low. I can get to just about 30psi...

Build a boost leak tester. Get a 3" PVC cap, 7/16ths drill bit, a 1/4" NPT tap, and an air nipple. Drill the cap, tap, and install the air nipple. Might want to put some teflon tape around the air nipple threads (I did). Also, you probably want to scuff up the rim of the PVC cap to give the intake tube something to grab onto. Even at only 25psi that thing will fly with a vengeance if it pops loose. LOL

Here's what mine looks like:

Egts seem high too
would would any of these be the cause?
I'm going to get a 4" pvc pipe cap and a tire stem and make a leak tester ...what psi should it hold? 30 psi?
If I find no leaks can someone post instructions for the wastegate adjustment

Ok so we all agree leak that's good I like not having an internal debate
So what things should I do to check
1.) Uppipes ... I check both from top and bottom so its not them
2.) Intake and i/c piping... I will build that tester tonight and do that
3.) ???
4.)???

What else to check?

Sounds like you got it so far. Check what you have listed so far and see what you find.
