Boost Problems

Boost Problems
I cant seem to figure this out. My truck will sometimes run full boost, 25psi and other times it will see 18psi. It seems that if its hot it will never run full boost but when its warming up it will see it 25 and sometimes it will only see it 18psi. Im not throwing any wastegates codes so i belive that its okay. Any suggestions on what to check?

When the engine is cold the timing is advanced and the oil pressure is higher. 18 is probably closer to your "normal" boost.

That is with the Evolution on Race. I would think the truck should build more boost then 18psi with it being chipped.

How would i go about doing that? I did a visual inspection and everything seemed tight with no rips. How would i test it to be sure.

If they are oily take them off and clean them and the tubes. to keep them from getting oily look into the ccv mod

I have done the CCV mod. If my boots were bad would i be able to see them?
