Al Packer West did a reprogram of the infotainment display and instrument panel display today per TSB 25-2083, which the Service Advisor told me superseded TSB 24-2009. While the initial instrument panel display was different (so I know they did something), there is still no compass on the instrument panel like there should be. So unless someone comes up with another solution, it looks like I'm stuck with a expensive high-end vehicle that does not does not have a simple, but important, feature that it should. Very disappointing.

Good luck. I have other issues like measurements disapearing from the display while driving and BLISS turning its self off when towing. Backup sensors turns on while towing even though it off because a trailer is connected. Dealers just say can't duplicate and send me home.
it sure would be nice to have these issues fixed, expensive truck 2/3rds of the way through warranty and Ford doesnt serm to care.

I had this update done on my '23 last week. The compass was not initially on my dash so I used forscan to enable it and now it's there. I had previously tried to enable to compass unsuccessfully so the update does fix it.
There was also a pile of DTCs the dealer was too lazy to clear but that's a different story.

Did you use the Forscan yourself to activate the compass or did you take it to a dealer or shop to do it for you?

Stopped at my Ford dealer to get a rear differential gasket and asked the service manager about the SB’s mentioned in this thread. Stated my truck hasn’t updated over the air. He suggested going to Syncmyride.com where you can download updates to a thumb drive and load them first, before bringing it in for service to do the updates. I just briefly went to the site just to verify the web address but will try this as I am not into all the forescan tech stuff.

If you're unfamiliar with forscan I suggest finding someone that is or reading the post from @ZooDad

Had Ford finally do the latest update. I can tell that something was done.. My screen defaults to my last screen finally, I had to re-add my screens to My View. BUUUUTTTT!! Sadly, still no damn compass.. Why is something so small so damn frustrating!

did you get a compass under the off road settings mode? That showed up at the same time as the letter at the bottom of the display. Only 1 of the 2 will display at a time.
