Not only are the temp and compass heading info missing, but the transmission gear indicator is not in the right place according to the manual pictures above.
Has anyone found a fix for this yet? It’s one of those small but annoying things. Maybe they will fix it with a software update?
Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this compass concern. Thanks!

Interesting, this is my thread I’ve been asking questions about but you don’t offer this to me?
If you are using the nav screen, even if you are diving on a road that is not updated, the system still should indicate which direction you are going on the nav screen. You set North to always be on top and the indicator points to the direction you are traveling. I was just curious as to why the little indicator on the dash was so important when the nav screen gives the same info. If all else fails, most everyone has a smart phone plugged in, just turn on the compass if you need one. Granted, the truck should work as advertised but there are so many work-arounds for determining direction, it should not be a major inconvenience if it it not correct on the dash.
I had not noticed just a "arrow" pointer on the nav screen. Was expecting to see a "compass rose" on the nav screen but that does not seem to appear. I will have to look to see if I can see what you are describing.
The smartphone option is actually a win / loose. The new wireless charger pad is great but where it is located it pretty much hides the phone screen from view without looking way down.
My complaint about this is not so much of it being a major inconvenience, as ya it's only a compass direction (and outside temp), but it's a worry that this is just the tip of the iceberg on other issues and what seems to be glitches, or oops we didn't have the right parts problems.
I know there are workarounds, and ya this is minor, but on new 100k plus truck I find that pretty unacceptable.
A car in this same price range would be getting roasted over the coals for minor issues like this.
AS for the iceberg, I actually just had the center screen gauges (12" instrument cluster between the tac and speedo) get stuck on the "push button to start" message screen when I went out at lunch today.
It stayed on the entire drive until I parked, and cycled stop, start, stop, start (push button on the lariat) the engine / acc power and then it cleared but it reset all my "fav" menu in the process.
