Holley Sniper EFI Conversion
thanks,
It's okay, but I won't do another one. I think I can get better performance out of a 4V and with a lot less things to go wrong. I've come to the conclusion unless you can do multiport injection there's no point .
The Sniper system is a throttle body system. Edelbrock offers a more sophisticated sequential multi-port fuel injection system with the Pro-Flo. If I were installing aftermarket fuel injection, I would steer well clear of Holley and strongly consider Edelbrock

Electric Fuel Pump: How to Do It Right
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...injection.html
Found a new system manufactured in Tennessee called ACE’S . It’s electronics are located separately.
working on installing this system on my 1984 E350 motor home. Lot of hookups but getting rid of the hard startsup and all that vacuum line stuff.
wish me luck.

1. When properly adjusted, which takes some doing, it's amazing in all weather conditions. Hot? Cold? It just works and always cracks quickly.
2. Holley's support for it is abysmal. Truly terrible. The forums are critical, and the #1 resource on there doesn't even appear to be a Holley employee.
3. Look for a local speed shop that works on 'em. I got so frustrated trying to get my config right, I took it to a shop - $75 and an hour later, it was perfect. Worth every penny.
4. Tanks Inc now has a dentside EFI tank with baffles and in-tank pump. I haven't done that yet but it's on the list. EFI hates going dry.
5. If you do go EFI, check out FatFender Garage's flip-out panel holder.
I absolutely positively would do EFI again. However, I would probably look very seriously at the competitors. If you need a new manifold, the Edelbrock looks pretty great.
After some issues at the beginning (the housing wasnt drilled correct so the TPS sensor would not turn from factory) it was a straight forward installation.
Startup and Idle was pretty much improved. Gas mileage more or lesss stays the same, but much better trottle response in comparison to the autolite 2 barrel.
I am looking forward to test this thing on my fresh rebuilt engine in a few weeks.
