Got the hood put back on this weekend. Once I get the brakes bled, I’ll take it for a short trip around the block.

Onto the interior!!

I noticed a cooler that I can see through the grill. Is that for the transmission or a.c.? I don't have either. Just curious.

That would be a new radiator. The other one was toast after the fire.

Wiring in the engine compartment is mostly connected.

Fuel pump is in!! I think that caused the fire.
You think thats what started the fire?!
Frig im having fuel system issues. I'm new to cars and I have a 1985 e150 300inline6 motorhome. it use to drive on propane and fuel but the propane system was removed for that part. Been having issues with no fuel in the fuel filter and sometimes there is. So someone helped me change the fuel pump

Though there was only 1 bolt there to hold it on and I havnt been able to find the another one yet that fits good so its leaking a little fuel. someone said it was no big deal and someone said it was so I'm looking for help and to learn.

Moving the center consol I can see the fuel pump leaking oil going down past my oil filter to a part I don't know what it is but there's a wire to it going, to more wires. but ya after the pump was in, the filter was working, i put some sea foam in the fuel tank and was driving.

The other day no fuel was going to the filter again. So I got a new filter but I don't know if it needs it. Because now there is fuel going to the filter.

don't know if I should drive it, incase it happends again. My carborator i wish i knew if it was replaced recently or not, but there are 2 places in the front for hoses and only 1 is connected and I wonder if I should plug the other whole.

So thanks for your thread, im gonna go through it, if you have any advice thank you! I want to learn to work on my vehicle and not take it to the mechanic as much as possible.

I am also a newbie at it. I was told that the fuel filter was the issue for the fire. It's all been replaced with new hoses now. You might be able to find some Youtube videos with your year, make and model to see what you might need to do. I wouldn't have gotten this far with out those videos.

Good luck!!
