You are not kidding. I am sweating out here. This heat is unbelievable. I want to move up North. Alaska looks pretty good right now.

I'll see your 106 and raise you one.

Although currently it is only 103 the high is supposed to be 107. However, since it is already 5pm, it has an hour to actually make it there. Usually, it starts cooling down after 6pm.

Well Jim, the thermometer on the porch registered 116* when I got home last night at 6:15 PM. The forecast is to be about 5* cooler here today, but we shall see.

I’m headed to the office like usual to keep things moving.

116?! got me beat. Even if we made our high for that day it wasn't 116.Today's high is predicted to be 105. Tomorrow 101. Coolest day of the week. I was going to go to the DMV today, but I'll do that early tomorrow morning.

Well, for some reason known only to the DMV they don't open until 9am on Wednesdays. Since I got there at 7:47am, I did not want to wait an hour and 20 minutes for them to open. So, I will try again tomorrow. I wanted to get there early enough to get one of the disabled spaces right in front. I got the space, but decided to leave after hearing that news.

Now I have heard everything. Went to the DMV this morning, stood in line, waited to be called to a window. Got to the window, and then the clerk tells me, you have to get the title transferred in Oregon in your name, then we can transfer it in your name here.... Really? So I have to drive all the way up to Oregon to get the car transferred in my name? "No, sir, you can use their website. Uh, sure, okay...

When you make that drive back up to Oregon, can you stop at the state prison for me? Oregon inmates make incredible jeans. Oregon inmates also make very durable furniture.

If I drive back up to Oregon, I will not return. I'll just move there.

I'm sure that Oregon will be nice and cool compared to where you are now. You won't have to pump your own gas. Rumor has it that Hollywood prereleases all the new films in Oregon.

Not pumping my own gas would be nice,. Don't care about the first run movies though.
