My girlfriend takes great care of me all year long, so I like to do something nice for her birthday. This year we went to Half Moon Bay to stay at the Ritz and play the two golf courses. It was great to get out of the heat.

I don't play golf. I tried. Just didn't enjoy it. As they say, I just don't "get it".
Maybe if there was a gun resort. First class lodging, and shooting. Safety classes. Firearms training certification for gun permits. Targets. Game animals. Tactical course. The resort supplies firearms and ammunition as part of the vacation package. You don't have to bring your own guns and ammo. Stay for a weekend, and leave with all the CCW credentials.
We should float the idea and get some financing. Central Coast. Ocean views. Near coastal wineries. Easy access from NorCal, Central Valley, and The SouthLAnd. We get a celebrity like Clint Eastwood to be "the face" of the resort.

I am probably in the same category. I played golf exactly twice when I was visiting my folks back in Minnesota. I went out with my Dad and my brother (twice). I guess I actually did "OK" considering I'd never played before. However, it didn't catch my interest. It was fun being out there with the two of them, and it brings back good memories. But it was the company, and not the activity that was the draw for me.
Well that is interesting. The reason for getting a CCW is so that nobody knows you are carrying. Now, everyone who has access to the breached info knows every CCW holder in the state. So much for anonymity.
Golf. Guns. Trading equities. Cars. Motorcycles. Season tickets to any performance or sport. Fishing. Food. Wine. Cigars. Drugs. Girls. Even exercise. It all cost money. Money I don't have.
I will be forever doomed. Not able to buy my happiness. Simply content to admire. No touching.
If only I can find a way to do a few of those things, and make money. I could carry a gun, sell drugs to hookers, and drive a pimp mobile. But I don't like wearing big hats with peacock feathers.
