No need to drain the fluid.
Start it and it the brakes a few times to opperate that side of the booster, do not steer at all. Turn off and let sit so you dont suck all the frothed air from ps reservoir, after it sits and froth goes down, then you can start and bleed by turning back and forth.
I believe that should work
Thanks! Will do! I'm hoping to get started around 7:00 to 8:00 in the morning, which gives it time to warm up so I can finish painting my booster before I get started on the truck. I feel like putting aside 3 to 4 hours should do it, but with the way life goes I have the whole day empty. If you say it's going to take 2 hours it's going to take 8
With that logic let's hope it takes a half hour!
Yup, you have been diagnosed with "SSJ-Paintaholic-19". There is no cure, only public denial and laughs as a means of coping with the disease.
at least I picked a good hobby to get addicted to!
Just went for a ride, I can still hear the power steering making a little bit of noise. We bled the system for a good while, nice stiff brake pedal and good steering, there might be just a little bit of air left making it a little bit loud but overall everything was smooth.
Thanks again Eric! 👍
Glad its working well. Air will continue to work out for a bit, it should most likely quiet down a bit more.
I am glad to have been able to send you a known good unit vs the unknown parts truck one

Thank you! I figured it will work itself out. I'm very grateful for you for sending me the booster and the lovely card, I can't put into words how much I appreciate you!
