Well I'm going to prove it to them by hooking them up directly to the gauge and take a pic. Might just go for a refund instead. No way I'm f'ing around some more. I will probably do stock rear and Tre front without FDM. Who knows maybe it' because i left part of the old pump wiring in place.[/QUOTE
Hope your luck is better than mine. I forgot to add in my last post the Quantum pump worked great for 2 or 3 days. Then the low pressure problems started...
I think mine started from day 1. I just didn't notice it until I switched tanks.
Put the old stockers back in at the rear, and got a total of 32psi!, and no change when I pull vacuum to the regulator. Jesus christ.I would've tested pressure at the pump but I couldn't get the supply line off. seems the fuel line removal tool only fit the return. I have 2 sets of tools and none of them fit right. Next will be to put the Tre pumps in and see if I get over 40psi.
No increase in pressure when vacuum line pulled off the regulator? Have you tried a different/new regulator?
I did yes. I think the pump is tired, it's about 7 years old and it is Spectre i think. I have yet to measure it at the pump, but I'm sure it's the pump. I do get over a hundred psi with the 255lph Tre pump though, so lets see how that goes tomorrow.
Oh wait I just realized there is no pump in the front tank right now, so wouldn't some of the fuel bleed into the front tank, making the pressure lower?
Well stockers only a bit better with the front installed. I guess it's due for replacement. Getting normal readings with the Tre pumps. I wonder if anyone has been successful fitting the 255lph into the stock module. I guess I would have to break the connector housing. Will try it out.
Wow 340lph, might be a bit much though but I will try it as a last resort. I'm going to see if what I have fits. I hacked up one module already trying to make it fit without cutting the connector housing. Will try it with the housing cut off this time.

But without doing that, I think that I removed the entire plastic disaster and just hung the pump from the tube like the old style fuel sending units. I remember the plastic housing being a bear to remove. Almost need 4 hands to release all the little tabs.
I also found a link for the autobest high flow pump module in that thread...sounds a bit risky though.but less than half the price of the competition....

well i hung the TRE pump in the front tank with a bracket I made last time, no plastic module. I ordered a rear autobest pump module that is higher flow than stock. Let's see how that one goes. If the front works I will just use that most of the time and run the rear tank once in a while.
I know this thread is a little old but I too have had low fuel pressure issues with 2 brand new Quantum pump modules. And they seem to know about this problem as they took them back without question. Don’t buy these POS pumps!!!!!
Not sure how they sleep at night. All that wasted time just removing the bed and installing and reinstalling the pump. The cheaper pump I bought seems sufficient but had less lph, at least it wasn't defective.
