First, I have a 1995 F150 with a 5.8L 351 engine and duel fuel tanks.
My front fuel pump has never worked since I purchased the truck. I decided to change the pump, but I had a difficult time locating a whole assembly. I ended up getting a pump from the junk yard.
Now, the front fuel tank will allow my truck to run, but then it just dies out.
I checked the gas pressure and it is only at 20psi. With my rear tank it is at about 60psi.
Any ideas? I am new to fixing vehicles, but I think maybe the junkyard pump is bad.
