I replaced the front fuel pump with a used pump assembly and completely emptied and cleaned the tank. I added five gallons of gas and turned the key on and off about 30 times. I can hear the pump kick on when I turn the key, but the pump will not move any fuel. The rear pump works fine, but the truck will stall if left to run on the front pump.
Is there a trick to get the pump to prime? Should I add another 5 gallons? Any way to trouble shoot the pump? Suggestions?
