Hi. So i have had a problem with my truck that i cant pinpoint. Its a 2003 and Cold start always puffs a little of black smoke and sometimes idles for a few seconds like it has a lope tune, when it gets hot and i kill it, it will not fire back up. I only have to wait about 15 min before i can start it again.
i have changed the ipr and icp and the pigtails.
when i have the scanner connected at 80 and floor it without it shifting i have
Engine oil at 46c
icp at 2500 psi
Desired icp at 2500psi
ipr at 62.5%
Engine oil at 77c
icp at 1800psi
desired icp at 2100psi
ipr at 85%
Engine oil at 90c
icp at 1300psi
desired icp at 2100psi
ipr at 85%
if i kill it at 90c and try to start icp will only go to 362psi but if i wait 15min and it cools to 88c it will start again, not strong but will do it.
i have done the air test (cold not hot) with both valve covers off and the ipr closed and the only leak i am getting is out of the spill port on one injector on the left side, i have tried putting oil down the injector since i have read that that might stop that leak but it still happens.
I also suspect that im getting some fuel in my oil although í think i fixed that when i took the injectors out this winter and i think i found a leaking o ring on number 7.
I have also had a problem with it dying when i got to shift from drive to neutral but dont have numbers from when that happened, that happened a few times when i drove it for about 1 hour and stopped and put it in neutral and it died.
my main question is, is the injector thing normal and i shouldnt worry to much about it or is it leaking out of the spool valves ( i took the spool valves this winter and polished them up ) and i need New injectors or is it a weak hpop?
hopefully someone can help me on this or guide me through some more tests becouse i dont know what else to do to disgnose this.

I tried taking the oil rail off and putting oil into the injector and then put air straight down the injector, now it doesnt leak, but if i fill it with oil and then put the oil rail on and apply air pressure and close the ipr it will free flow out of the spill port but after some time with the air connected i can hear a gurgl from the oil filter housing. Am starting to lean towards a pump. Any thoughts ?

Your pump is done.
Gurle under oil filter housing is normally a bad pump.(The fun, on pump recommendations is on)
I would still keep an eye on the other issues if there are some.
