I don't think it matters what you install it on. Once the module is mounted on the trailer, you train it before it goes into a working mode. All of this is done through the dash screen during PTBA setup mode. I've used mine on 2 different vehicles (same 5th wheel). I had to reprogram it to my new truck. BTW, if anyone needs a module, PM me. I have an extra that I would sell.

The PTBA might not be something that everyone needs but once a person takes the necessary time it takes to get on to using it, it works extremely well. I can back up doubles and have showed off by backing a trailer down the road at 35 mph, yet, even I can back up smoother using this technology than I can without it. The one limitation it has is that it’s slow …. If you ever have need to back a trailer a mile down the road it’s going to take awhile using PTBA.
