does a 5-pin flat blade trailer light plug-n-play wiring harness exist?
I'd like to clean up the rat nest under my rear bumper. I have no idea how many previous owners installed their own trailer harness wires but it's a complete mess right now. I can count 4 separate 4-pin flat blade wiring sets (2 of which were cut and left dangling) so who knows what condition my final connection is in. Right now, I use the 6-pin round plug and use a 6 round-to-4 pin blade adapter for my basic trailer towing because the two dangling 4-pins don't work. The issue I'm running into is I need the 5-pin flat blade (the one with that locks out the surge brakes when backing up) to pull my boat. I can trick the lock-out solenoid on the surge brakes to activate by plugging the #5 (last pin) trailer male pin into the #2 pin on the truck with the parking lights on. But this is very cumbersome and I've broken a couple pins doing this already.
So, I"m looking for a harness that I can plug directly into the truck's original harness that has a 6-pin round and the 5-pin flat. Do these exist?

Yeah, I guess I don't mind changing to a seven pin since like you said, I can get any adapter I need then. Was hoping I didn't have to carry around the adapters as they tend to get lost when someone borrows my truck to yank a trailer.
Found this on etrailer: Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Trailer Connector Adapter - 7-Way to 6-Way, 5-Way or 4-Way Hopkins Wiring HM47570 Will still need the 6-pin round for the trailers at the farm but this should cure 99% of my towing concerns.
