On my 2018 I had to change out the trailer connector at the rear bumper to plug in the included harness.
The new connector was also in the kit.
From what I can teel the connector and the harness are the same for eith or both the trailer TPMS and the backup camera, but you don't nessarly get all the components for both. It depends on what was ordered.

These cameras can also be used on all the pickup trucks as trailer cameras if you are inclined to go under the truck and unplug the tailgate camera and plug this in. It's a low budget work around and these cameras are the same as what is provided in the trailer camera kits.
