I got a P20 code. Question what did you do to the truck to fix it? Did it just go away after a few key cycles? I add some DEF. It was almost 3.5 gallons low. Truck did a exhaust clean about 100 miles ago. Truck seems to run fine. 15 F250 6.7
Please move to appropriate section. Thanks
There is no P20 DTC......a DTC consist of a letter and 4 digits....On some DTC's, there might be a qualifier attached after the 4 digits separated my a colon (.
My code reader just gave me a P20** no numbers or letters. I was assuming 00.
Time for a better code reader!
My truck decided to throw this one today with only 49k on the clock...........Tis The Season......I'm guessing faulty DEF Heater because today was the first day this season I drove the truck in below freezing temps.
Might be like dirthawg and you have a DEF heater problem. Have the dealer check Oasis to see if your truck might be covered for the extended warranty on the DEF heater.
Well DEF heater is toast. They quoted me a price of $1,600 to fix it. I was floored. Ford website is down so they couldnt tell me if i was under that extended warranty. Part is $350 if I install it myself. It looks like so much fun to do this job. LOL Not going to pay $1,600 for something I can do myself. Bad part is I just topped off the tank so she b full.

I think mine is toast as well. How many miles on your truck?
I didn't even bother checking to see if its covered under warranty or not. Ordered a new OEM heater from White Bear Lake Ford $285 and about $15 for shipping. I can fix it myself when it's convenient over the weekend and not have to be without the truck for a day or more.
