Are you sure you don’t mean “adding your truck to FordPass” not adding FordPass to your truck.

From the factory, your 2019 has the ability to use the app.

I doubt FORScan has anything to do with it.

I had Sched Start for Thursday but turned it off because I didn't go in (if the boss says you don't have to then why bother lol).
I set it for Friday at 4:35am, it didn't start when I got out of the shower and I was pissed, button start on the app didn't work either. I had to run out and hand start it.
Man was I pissed at pre 5am and 12º outside ! AND I noticed that the way the front looked was different even though I had NOT done the update.
At work I started to fiddle with it, no go on any of it other then lock/unlock. I did the update. Wouldn't take a sched start at all but I also couldn't restart my phone till I was out of work.
Restarted phone just now and it just circles around when trying to do a sched start. Then pop up says "We're exp delay. Your request had need received but needs more time to process, do not resubmit. check back later"
I think I got that yesterday too.
I just did the button start and it's taking forever to start. Nope not working after 2 min trying.

I am beyond pissed as I would have ordered the remote start

edit, going to try clearing Cache and restart phone to see what helps. I have Motorola, android 10
Clearing the cache seemed to allow the schedule to be Scheduled but when I tried to have it sched start it still didn't work. And the button start is also not working.
I just restarted the phone, went out while that was doing to start the truck... hoping it would re-set something.
AND IT WORKED !
Now let us see if it will still work come Monday.

My app updated on Andriod yesterday and so far is much more stable. It may actually be usable now...

What Version of the App does it show you running?

3.14.0, just did update yesterday.

Try clearing your Cache only.

FYI, only worked using the push button, not the sched start

Yes, same issue for me. For the past couple of weeks since one of the prior updates mine stopped working. All I know for sure is it didn’t work for 3.13 and still not on 3.14 for iPhone 11 running 14.3 iOS. My Apple Watch still has FordPass on it and I am able to start/lock/unlock my truck from it. I have an android tablet that was running 13.3 and now 13.4 and it wouldn’t work. Same issue as brandon above. However, I was able to load an older version of the android software. Version 3.10 I believe and it worked just fine. So it is nothing with the vehicle or the sync module that we added to our NON FordPass Sync Module vehicles. It is with the newer updates that is conflicting with only vehicles that have “added” FordPass modules that didn’t originally come with them. Anyone else with this issue have a thought or a resolution?

I tried to clear the cache on my iPhone. That didn’t work. Still came back and said “activation is currently unavailable”.

You need to restart your phone AND go out and start the truck with a key (let it run a minute or 2 then shut off).


If you are talking about a truck that didn't come with the sync 3 or ability to use the FordPass, Please make a NEW thread about that mod you made to your truck.
It is getting lost and mixed up on this thread and I don't want to see someone not understand what is going on.

Any iOS geniuses out there that know how to restore an old version of the ford pass .ipa back on iOS 14?

Ok mine seems to be working correctly the last 2 days. Other then what I told you I've done nothing else and no other updates of anything on the phone.
FYI I do not allow any auto updates on my phone.
Seriously a screwed up program but I'm happy the sched start is now working.
I'm not going to update this thing ever again

Got an update for android - seems to work until I saw this. Sort of defeats the purpose of the app.
