Got another Android update to FordPass this morning on Google Playstore - Version 3.13.0... held my breath, installed and everything still worked after the update - surprise, surprise!
On 12/3/20, Version 3.13.1 arrived (or that's when I noticed it) on Google PlayStore (Android) - as I had been having pretty good luck, I let it update! What could go wrong with such a minor (.0 to .1) update, right? Remote Start now tells me "You have tried too many times to start your vehicle - please start with key and drive vehicle to clear error" I did that after going out in the 27 degree weather and starting with the key to let it warm up. Drove to the coffee shop with the wife, had a coffee and a cinnamon stick and tried again! Opened the door, closed the door, locked it... let it sit for a few minutes... tried the remote - you guessed it! Tried to un-install/reinstall app - still same thing. Finally went back to my backup (thank God I still have it stored in a safe place) of Ver 3.10.0 and I'm back up and running fine again! #NoMoreUpdates4Me - Thank God this App Team isn't building our trucks!!!
I still have on and off issues. Usually it says Can't use right now but still auto starts
i just did an update again but can't restart my phone till tonight.
Hope I didn't just kill it again
No, 3.10.0 has been very stable for me and even I got that crazy Dialogue Box last night saying they were having issues with remote lock, unlock, start/stop, etc., but mine still started behind the dialogue box! ??? I was even able to extend the time 10 minutes (because it was in the 20's here) and again, got the box! ???

wonder if they just don't like MASS people this week.
To anybody with an iOS device running the FordPass App pre 3.13.1 , .... would you be willing to extract the .ipa File from your phone through iTunes and share it with me ?

If someone shares the app with you let me know. I'm also trying to get an older version to install on my iPhone until they get it fixed. Thank you.
The latest version in the Apple App Store fixed my issues with oil life, mileage, and fuel level. However health reports seem to still not work. Can’t speak to any remote features tho since I have a 2018.
I noticed this morning that the size of the update in the Google PlayStore changed from 52 MB to 21 MB, so I assumed another version had uploaded. I opened it and it still said 3.13.1??? Don't know about these folks... that's how I usually know there's been a change in Version - when the size changes - almost got me this time!!! Glad I opened and checked it before downloading it...
I had to delete the FordPass app from my iPhone 11+ due to battery drain issues. I’m hoping a future update resolves this problem, but I’m finding that I don’t miss the app that much.
I have my FordPass linked to Alexa and although the app itself may not display the lock, unlock and start buttons I can still use these commands through Alexa and it still works.
I tested it yesterday and I was able to successfully start/stop, lock & unlock the truck through voice commands.
