Still have not found a solution to my vibration. After carefully observing it, I can feel the vibration at even as low as 20-30 mph and up to 55 when it really kicks in. Then at 65+ it fades and is not really perceptible with these bogger tires.

I had similar issues. Started with a bad pinion bearing. New bearings, Tru-Trac, wheel bearings, angle shims, new u-joints, rebuilt double cardon, driveshaft trued and balanced - nothing fixed it until I just replaced the driveshaft completely. Tom Wood, $640 for it. No idea for sure if it was the play in the splines or a combination of several things. Just know what resolved the problem.
Its going back in Friday to a different driveline shop. They asked where I had the driveshaft balanced and rebuilt before and when I told them they oohh... I asked if that was a good oh or a bad oh and the guy I talked to said that they have had to fix work done by the place that rebuild the double cardan and balanced it on more than one occasion. Kinda bummed they couldn't do it until Friday but I wanted them to have the whole truck in case it still a pinion angle issue or something other than the driveshaft still.
Well it ended up being 2 issues. The rear ujoint that I replaced maybe 700 miles ago this shop said was bad and had 1/8" of play in it. I never felt it when I was pushing and pulling on everything but I don't claim to be a professional. They said the joint I put in was cheap China junk-which was supposed to be one of the better ones at napa- and that they were recommending a spicer unit. So they replaced that and also had to rebalance the driveshaft. I forgot to ask how off the balance was. Anyways no more vibration in the 80 mile drive home. I do have a bit of resonance coming from the exhaust that I never noticed before probably because with the deeper gears the rpms are slightly higher at the speeds I drive and the resonance went away when I kicked it out of overdrive at that speed. Glad to be done with this part of it. Now to get going replacing the rusted out rockers
