Maybe too much booze makes you go cross-eyed? Kind of hard to see the coyotes when your eyes are looking opposite directions.

I’m convinced it starts in 2nd or 3rd the way it drives and it automatically goes into ECO mode whatever the hell that is. What’s funny is the van almost has same payload as my old 2011 F150 which was 1365 lbs!

Met two “rangers” last weekend. Had two kids that a friend had carried for them. Nice guys, like minded with respect to current situation. One was a chiropractor, sold his practice to go overseas, Covid-19 f’d that up so they came back. Now they are full time RVers for next 6 months.
In my head I’m like damn where did I make the wrong turn in career choices!
Jim, sorry, but you're dealing with a knuckle dragger when it comes to fancy beer. What in the hell is that? Reading the ingredients it looks like it would give you the squirts and make you lactate? Help a redneck out.
It's not one of those White Claw things. It's definitely a beer, but it wasn't dark beer colored. More like a berry color. The berry taste was pleasantly present, but not overwhelming. I'm not a beer connoisseur, so I don't know how to describe it.

Since the day we graduated college - 32 years ago - my wife made more than I did. It was odd for the first few years. After that, no big deal. It paid for a lot of my toys.
Bowtie, what kind of goods are you always transporting?
PVC and aluminum fence. Inbound it's just lineals and profiles, all full bundle quantities. Most of our inbound is full truck loads. We received 4 last week, 1 Monday, 1 today, and another on Friday. Customer deliveries are finished jobs. Sometimes the job components will be full bundle quantities, hence the factory bundles seen on the back of the trailer. Most of the time it is a mix of our packaging and factory. You can see the gates on top of the bundles in the back. That's what all that (wet, I got in some heavy rain) cardboard is about, keeping them from getting scratched up. We also sell chain link, but I generally avoid that and put it off on my regular driver.

I'm going to go "old man" on you again. Up until 8 years ago I thought I would die working too. Neither Wifey or I made t past high school. Hell, we were married 1 year after graduation. We partied hard for the first 3 or 4 years. We always worked hard, busted our azzes, made a decent living, kids never wet to day care or rode a school bus (not that there's anything wrong with either). My wife had a trade, I'll go ahead and put this out there; she wasn't a hooker or adult entertainer, where we bought the equipment and she was able to work from home . Anyway, if you keep your name and reputation top notch, you never know what can happen. I don't want to bore everybody to death, but you just don't know what is coming your way down the road. Right place, right time, Divine Intervention, whatever you want to call it, it can happen.

He’s right man, there’s a reason my wife and I crossed paths. We have 4 great kids, we’ve done alright. Kids cost me some hair but whatever. They are greatest challenge and greatest blessing. Challenge like whits end sometimes!

It's about time for a Tennessee Tent Revival Skags. Can we use your range?
OMG, for whatever warped-**** reason, this made me think of the scene in Sling Blade where Doyle (Dwight Yokam) gets the idea to get the band together and then that whole shxt show happens. Probably my favorite part of that movie.

😂 Matter of fact next week, I'm in for 2 tent visits.
By the way, ya'll do know the whole mustard thing got started with Sling Blade right?
When I asked HRTKD if he liked mustard biscuits after his blade sharpening comment.
It went "south" from there
Edit.....Range is open, and you can drink cold beer also
Damn Bowtie....my wife’s not a hooker 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Had me busting a gut. I wasn’t even thinking of it but you knew you better cover all angles with this group.
Bronco, I don’t know what it’s like to be an RN where you are but up here, you make some good money. Union give you all the breaks a guy could possibly need to get some R&R. The longer you are in the game, the more doors open. I tell all my single buddies, male or female, to go get themselves an RN.
When I was surveying, I was the big honcho in the field. I was working 300+ hours a month and in the most stressful situations. I gained weight, constant headaches and started having heart palpitations at age 30. I dropped that like it was hot and went free lancing. Same amount of money, less work hours and darn near stress free for a guy with my experience. My motto is life’s too short to work yourself into an early grave and that’s where I was heading.
My situation is out of the norm. My wife and I decided early on that we didn’t want kids. I was supposed to retire from travelling to the oilfield when she graduated law school. That was the plan but she hated law school and dropped out. That pushed me into another 5yrs of oilfield before I can go get the normal 8-5 job to cover the bills until I turn 65. She’s relying on her parents money but I’m not playing that game. I’ll make enough now to cover the retirement plan in case she ever smartens up and leaves my ****.
What I can’t stand are when people ask us if we have kids. The look of horror on their face when we say we don’t want any. I’m happy, she’s happy, stress free and on easy street. Yes, it’s a selfish way to go but......... F it, I’m in it to win it. 😂
Before I go.......... Scags getting outsmarted by coyotes. I have a gif for that but it won’t load. 😂
And my grandfather on my dad's side was a Bible thumping no AC in the church for 50+. LMAO😂
GOD knows I was like.....this must be what hell feels like cause I'm f'n roasting in here!!!!
I went to a Southern Baptist private school 8th - 12th grade. I've seen my share of fire and brimstone sermons through the years. We had chapel once a week and they always had guest speakers and they scared the hell out of us.
The first class every morning was Bible. I'm glad for the experience as the demographics in our neighborhood schools weren't conducive to learning. About the only thing we learned how to do was fight because the academics were no challenge. Probably a good thing I went there to get me through the decadence of my early 20's.
