Calling for rain later today then good weather for the next few days. Yesterday was Friday eve for me, got the rest of the week off. Bedroom roof has developed a small leak so I'm replacing screws on the metal panels tomorrow. I'm thinking some of the neoprene washers on the screws have deteriorated and will also put sealant on seams too.

Initially blamed Judy's dog for pissing on my pillow until I figured it out. Dog holds a grudge after I kick her out of the bedroom before I get down to business so I kinda figured it was her.

What's the pitch on that metal roof? I've got bad memories of sliding down a metal roof when I was a kid. "Stay off that barn roof!" All the grown-ups said. "OK, we will." The kids said. Up the pecan tree we went. I was the first to step onto the roof and a away I go, down the roof and onto my **** from about a 10' eave height. No permanent damage, thankfully.
Glad you remove the dog from what would surely be a most traumatic experience for the poor thing. Seeing her mama get the business would surely leave a mental scar.

Ok, I promised you some home generator ****, so here it is....

Perfect spot, just under corner of wrap around porch. 22KW.

Looking under the hood, 1000cc. V twin runs on propane or natural gas. Propane in my case.

Fancy gate I built just for the occasion.

3, 125 gal. Tanks, should hopefully hold us over close to 4 days or so....

Very shallow pitch, I think that exacerbates the problem.
