1956 Full Front End 8" Drop Solid Axle
Not sure if this is the correct place to post but I am new to the forum and do not have access to the main marketplace listings.
Selling complete 8" drop front end that will fit second gen F-100's (1953-1956), prefer to have all of it go together and not part it out.
All parts have roughly 3000 miles on them with no issues, switching it IFS so no longer need it. Parts new cost roughly $3,000, can send part numbers from mid 50's website where I got them if needed. Can send pictures of truck to see ride height.
$2,000 or best offer.
Parts included:
- 3" solid axle drop
- Tie rod drop kit
- Mono reverse eye leave springs (5" drop)
- Shocks
- Disk conversion (rotors/calipers/lines/5x5.5 bolt pattern)
- Power steering

Good morning sir. Hope all is well. Just wondering how you got along with your air deflector search? Networking being what it is these days, I hope you were successful. If by chance you still have the 51 F-1 hood trim or know of any around, please reach out. I will be in OK on business in mid January so who knows.....

I managed to move my radiator to the V8 spot, so I found a deflector. I also discovered the trim I have is for a ‘52, not a ‘51. I have the main spears and the upper and lower trim, but no medallions. You’re welcome to what I have but they aren’t what I thought they were when I posted…sorry for the mixup.

Original 1955 F100
I have a mostly all original 1955 F100 pickup, with a 239 Y Block V8.
My brother bought and drove this home from my high school voc. ed. teacher 45 years ago. At the time we took it completely apart, body off the chassis and had it all sand blasted. We then primed the body and recoated the chassis. Afterwards putting it all back together and working on it in our spare time. For many years it was stored in the garage and never touched, as it all came to a very slow project due to funds. My brother passed 3 years ago and I have not touched the truck to restore it. Before his passing he sparked a great interest in wanting to work on his truck again, and we had it running like a fine oiled machine. For some reason he wanted to have the engine cleaned and painted, he stripped it down and it has sit ever since.
If you are interested in knowing more please reach out. I am disabled now, which means that it may sit many more years before anyone has a interest in restoring it. I may sell the entire truck as a whole, or part it out at some point. Thank You!

DISC BRAKE CONVERSION FOR SALE
I bought this front axle complete with new king pins, brakes and posie springs. It came off an unfinished 1955 F100 build. The new owner is going with a Crown Vic IFS.
Selling the brake components because I'm staying with the stock lug bolt pattern. I was told the brake kit was sourced from Speedway. There are detailed photos and component descriptions on Speedway's site. I looked & compared closely and believe it's a match. The lug bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5.
Price is $100.00 . You pick up or pay shipping.
