48 F5 COE For Sale

Gentlemen, it's time to put my 48 F5 COE for sale. It's too nice to just be yard art, and realistically that's all it will ever be at my house. I'd like to see it go to a good home. Overall it's pretty solid, better than most, and is complete less engine. I do have the hood and grille. The guy I got it from took it apart to pull the engine. He said it was a running and driving truck before disassembly. He put the engine directly into an 8N tractor, so I don't doubt the story. I have all the pieces including hood, grille, dog house parts, even the passenger seat. Minor, typical rust in floors and cab corners. Has lock ring 20" wheels. 48 grille with stainless grille bar trim. More pictures available for serious inquiries. I don't have a title but I do have a sheriff inspection affidavit that says it's not stolen and can be converted to a title after it's fixed up and inspected in WA. Should be recognized in other states as it is an official state form signed by law enforcement. Your mileage may vary. First $3500 can make it yours. I'm giving you guys first dibs before going on the open market.

53-56 Parts

Updated 5/18/2025.

I'm selling all my 53-56 Truck parts. This is the body parts. Most are used parts that will need some to a lot of work to make them perfect . I also have some new patch panels. I have a lot of pictures of the parts in the album here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/CDbRm5r . And I will be adding more pictures over the next week or so ( pics of the cab, cab sections and hood ) .

I would prefer not to ship the stuff. But am willing to ship the smaller stuff. But you pay shipping cost. Pm your zip code if you want a shipping quote.

I'm located in southern Minnesota. I'm about 40 minutes south of the Twin Cities, 8 miles west of I-35.

If anyone wants it all I'd sell it all for $1,800.00. Individual part prices are in the list.

Below is a list of what I have for sale with prices:
1954 Cab with doors The firewall and floors were cut out to mount it on a newer old truck chassis. and custom floors were started. This would be good for parts, or finish it to build a driver or work truck. It would take a whole lot of work to return it back to stock condition. The cab will also come with the new cab corners, ds cowl patch panel and some other parts ( New front poly cab mounts and mount brackets, etc. ) .

Asking $400.00 for it.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/g/album/854204

1954 cab rear wall and partial roof section.
$150.00

I will also offer what I would call a 53-55 extended/crew cab starter kit. It would included The 1954 F100 cab mentioned above with the additional cab rear walls and roof sections, all the 53-55 doors I have ( 7 total, the 2 that are on the 54 cab and the 5 extras ) , New cab corner patch panels, a new driver's side cowl patch panel, a DS lower door jamb patch with hinge pocket, New poly front cab mounts and brackets, Used door jamb sections ( front with hinge pockets and rear jambs ) from a couple different 53-55 cabs, and some used rocker panel sections. And if I find more misc used cab pats I will throw them in too.

$1,000.00

2 53-55 dash panels. These are the actual dash panels cut out of cabs. These are just the panels, no instrument clusters, ash trays or glove box doors. The one has been cut out for a misc. radio the other one hasn't.

one with radio cut out $35.00.
No radio cutout $45.00.

Radiator mount. A previous owner used a cutting torch on the lower mounting hardware and screwed up the to bottom holes. They will need to be welded up and redrilled. $40.00.

1955 Hood latch panel. Light surface rust but very solid. $75.00.

1954 front valance/gravel pan ( bright yellow ) . Has one small rust hole in the inner layer of the passenger side end flange. $100.00.

1954 Grille . Rough condition, lots of dents and has rust in the lower sections of the headlight areas. And the V8 emblem has two broken studs. This would take a lot of work to be nice again. Good for a rat build or a wall hanger for garage or man cave. $100.00.

5 53-55 doors.

2 1954 doors ( green "patina" ) . These doors have many layers of paint and also appear to have some kind of business logo on them. Driver side has damage to the door skin and the front edge of access hole inside the door. They are fairly complete except most of the glass and the access hole covers are missing. $125.00 each.

SOLD - Red passenger side door. This is probably the nicest condition of all the doors. Complete except for the main window, window crank handle, arm rest and access hole cover. $125.00. - SOLD

Aqua color passenger side door shell. Some rust in the lower door/skin. $100.00.

White driver side door shell. Some rust in the lower door. Also has a dent on the front edge of the inner door just above the bottom hinge area. And has a bunch of holes in the inner door for a full door panel. $100.00.

media blasted driver side door shell. Has some rust in the lower sections of the door. Also has a line of holes drilled in the front side of the inner door. Like someone used an old school slide hammer to remove a dent. $100.00.

1954 Passenger side short box bed side. Pretty solid overall but does have some rust in the lower flange and in the lower extension panels. $100.00.

1954 Passenger side rear fender. Overall pretty good shape but will need the lower front patch panel. And it has a small rust hole in the mounting flange and a hole drilled in the lower rear section ( from wrap around rear bumper ) . $150.00.

1956 rear driver side fender with spare tire well. Rough condition, a lot of rust. Would require a lot of patching to make nice again. But it does have a nice wheel well opening. $75.00.

Patch panels, all bought years ago from Mid-Fifties F100 parts:

2 rear cab corners
7709-R
7709-L
$60.00 pair.

Front driver side cab corner/cowl side panel.
7705-L
$55.00.

Front driver side lower door pillar with hinge pocket.
7713-L
$45.00.

I have a frame crossmember off a 1954 F100 frame. I believe this crossmember in located under the rear of the cab. This is the crossmember with the curved bottom. I've had a few of these that were notched/cut out for driveshaft clearance, on some trucks with engine swaps. This one is in good shape. It is very solid, no rust thru or thin spots, just surface rust. It has small chunks of the frame rails still rivoted on. If you want, I can remove them. Or if you want them the way they are pictured that is fine too. But it will be cheaper to ship with them removed.

I'm asking $40.00 for the crossmember.

The crossmember that is also in the pictures, with the shock mounts on it is not included. It has been SOLD.

If you are interested, want more pictures or have any questions feel free to send me a PM.

This is a pair of hinge plates purchased in 2007 from Sacramento Vintage Ford Parts. It allows you to convert your stock front body panels into a one piece tilt forward front clip. These bolt to the inner fender panels and air deflectors. It's just the two hinge plates and three photocopied pages of instructions. The hinge plates are 1/4" thick steel. They are new/unused but have some light flash rust on them from sitting on a shelf for 17 years. The first picture is just to show the kind of tilt front end I'm referring to ( not sure who's truck that is ) .

Asking $100.00 + shipping for the pair. Private message me your zipcode if you want a shipping quote.

1956 F100 rear leaf spring saddle

I am doing a frame up restoration on a 1956 F100. some prior owner or service shop left the metal plate off the top of the leaf spring assembly that the two U bolts clamp onto. The part number is 8C-5708 and Ford calls it a Rear Spring Clip Plate. It fits all F1/F100 truck from 1948-1956. Thank you!! Dan

I'm looking for a very good to excellent grade passenger side front fender for a 1950 F-2. 48-50 F2,3,4,5 and 6 should be the same. No damage and only minimal rust.

Please message me if you have something, I don't always see the replies on this topic.

Angry Heater Intake Duct For Free

I have a heater fresh air intake duct that came off my 54 F100 for free to anyone that is looking to add or replace one that is not in good shape. The bottom of this one has a rust hole in it but I think a handy welder could fix that pretty easily. You pay shipping and I will box it up and get it into the mail. Otherwise....it will find a home in the trash......

You can have the gasket also.

This is the end with the hole.

56 F100 parts New Jersey

I have a lot of parts leftover from my project and would like to clear out the bullpen. Sorry, can't ship, will need parts picked up in New Jersey.

- '56 cab with doors. $400. It's pretty rough so it would either be for parts or for someone who loves welding. I have patch panels that go with it. Rockers, cowls, and 1 cab corner.

- '56 driver door. $300. It's been skinned and is pretty clean. Will need to be put on a door jig and worked into shape as it's a bit warped.

'56 passenger door. $50. It's rough but maybe you need a donor for for parts.

'53 - '56 fenders. I have 4 rears and two are pretty good but need a little work and 2 are more for parts. $200 for all 4.

'53 - '56 front fenders. Driver's side could be put into shape with a little hammer and filler work. Passenger side needs more love. $100 for the pair.

- Short bed. Sides are pretty rough but the front panel looks good. No tailgate. Would be a good rat rod bed. $200.

- '56 rear axle. Spins but I don't know condition of gears. Comes with leaf springs too. $75

- '56 front axle with spindles. $25

- '54 fuel tank. Doesn't leak. $25

If someone wants to show up with a trailer and a $1,000 they can have it all plus an ice cold beer!

Rick

Yes, I used it to test spray gun patterns.

Chassis is not for sale.
