My truck has a little over 180k miles +5k hours, +1k idle hours and my DPF/EGR hasn't been touched. As a matter of fact my fuel economy has slightly increased and I've been running ExxonMobil Diesel Efficient fuel exclusively for the past year that produces less soot and that can only help the emissions system. This small increase in fuel economy is compared to when my truck was new so that tells me my dpf is not clogging to the point if affects performance and fuel economy. I drive a mixed city and highway and pull occasionally.
I just started using Mobil Synergy fuel. It seems like my truck passive regens faster. Like more reduction than before. Time will tell. I'm on my 3rd tank I believe.

Why not take your truck to the dealer and have them solve the problem. Sometimes it's cheaper to have the dealer fix something than guess at what might be the problem.
I use this every tank. Since I don't have a bed cover that could keep stuff secure in the bed, I keep this in a military ammo can in the truck that has a seal on it because this schitt stinks.
Pittsburgh Power also cleans DPFs using the equipment from DPF Alternative's. They cut the rocketship open to get to the particulate filter part I believe. They have articles on this on their site as I believe I've seen it on the Ford's systems before.
