Force regen enabled in IDS

I had ford reprogram my tank size to 50 gal after my Titan install. I also had them enable force regen which enables a gauge that shows filter %. Does anyone know how to activate the manual regen now? I heard the screen would enable you to do so once it shows full. It's now full but doesn't have an option to start a regen.

Here's the gauge:

So what the secret? My dealer says it's impossible.

I'm guessing that enabling "forced regeneration request" in IDS only activates that gauge. I don't see anyway to do a operator commanded regen. Either way, it's nice to see that gauge. When they activated it, I was at 95%. Later that day it said FULL and when I hit the freeway it started the regen. You can watch the gauge go down every 5%. Kinda nice, not sure why that's not activated by default.

What you have is just the screen to show %. Can't do a manual regen.

Old tread, but I had my 2012 programmed (actually did it myself with Forscan's free windows download. It works fine, but will only let you do a manual regenerate once it reaches 85% or over. Perhaps your dealer didn't program it correctly. IT'S NOT IMPOSSIBLE.

What happens that enables you to manually do it? Does an option appear on that filter % page?

Nothing happens.. If you check your % on that page and see that it's above 85, you can then just press ok to clean it (as per instructions on the screen). If it's not over 85, then there will be no option to regain. Remember that you have to be sitting still in Park to be able to activate the manual regenerate. It takes about 15 minutes and loud as hell.

So you're saying by enabling the 3rd ghost screen to show the DPF soot load %, that in itself will enable the truck to do a manual regen as long as the soot load is 85% or higher? And all that has to be done is press the "OK" button and follow the directions on the gauge screen?

That is correct. You'll have to press the ok button and hold it for it to start.

It seems that after the 2012 models (only one known 2015 can do it), Ford doesn't give any messages about performing a manual regen. I have tried it and never seen any messages on my 2015. I am the one who posted the photos of the IDS enabling of the Exhaust Filter screen.

Dave, there is only one known case of a 2015 Lariat being able to do the manual regen. No one else has been able.

I also thought it had to be 95% or higher to do it.

Thanks. I appreciate your response. Are you over in that FORScan thread that Larry, Just Strokin', started? I've perused it before but that's a lot of pages to go through. I've been wanting to activate my factory DPF Soot Load % screen for awhile now. This is great. Not that I need it but it's great to know it's there in case I had to. So this will work for all the 11 to 16s, do you know?

*EDIT

Okay, I see the FORScan master has answered. That bites.
