Does the cuteness booster help attract the females to your truck? That's kind of creepy. At least we aren't talking about a van that might be found trolling neighborhoods.
You need to use some type of fuel catalyst (aka cuteness booster), I’ve tried a few and this stuff works the best.
I've looked at their products before including their oil. You still use that stuff?

You mean like this?
LOL! That appears to be a woman whose efforts at online dating have failed to produce the desired results. That seems like an extreme effort, but I found myself wondering if the sockets were regular or deep well. On my prior truck, most it could be taken apart with a set of 10mm sockets and wrenches.
When you made your comment, it reminded me of a meme I saw some time ago that involved a van with that on the side of it. This isn't the original image I posted but it's good enough.
My truck has a little over 180k miles +5k hours, +1k idle hours and my DPF/EGR hasn't been touched. As a matter of fact my fuel economy has slightly increased and I've been running ExxonMobil Diesel Efficient fuel exclusively for the past year that produces less soot and that can only help the emissions system. This small increase in fuel economy is compared to when my truck was new so that tells me my dpf is not clogging to the point if affects performance and fuel economy. I drive a mixed city and highway and pull occasionally.
I seldom regen so it stays empty for the most part. I run premium diesel at home but on the road I get whatever at the truck stops. towing keeps it clean.
Troy, your truck is doing just fine because you are using it like it has to be in order to keep emissions on the truck happy and functioning. It soulds like that fuel helps too.
Senix, no comment. We all know about the unicorn.

What would you like to know? It's been a common repair here for years. The success rate depends on how long you wait. All bets are off if any of the media is broken or melted. The cost is about 60% total cost of OEM replacement. We use a local shop in Stockton for our fleet trucks. The shop is actually mentioned in the link.
So I wonder, based upon the information provided by Ford390gashog, how many miles a dpf should be able to go in our applications. I rarely regen due to heavy towing in fact my last regen was 652 between them. Truck has a little over 70K on it.
Last check hours were 1912 and idle hours were 233.
Do you disable auto regen manually? If not how do you get the truck to bypass the 500 mile limit between regens?
I don't understand why these DPF's were not engineered to be serviceable.
I have been waiting on the aftermarket to take care of this to no avail.

to give you an idea of how clean it was...after running the system for a while I came across a new take off DPF for cheap and bought it becuase it looked brand new.
when I had them both off....I could poor a cup of water into both of them and the one I was running with the injection system drained the water instantly, while the "new take off" took a few seconds to drain the water.
you can run straight water in these injection systems and really only need the washer fluid during the winter.
Is the 6.4L DPF easily removed?

I have not seen this in the south east. Where are you located?

No, not an option for my model year unless I was to use forescan. I just do a lot of towing or country roads and almost no in town stop and go. Just does this on its own. Only thing I do different is the running of premium 50 cetane fuel. But that is only at home, on the road it is at truck stops like everyone else.
Sounds like a DPF issue. How many miles on your 11?
It has 119K on it. I have done some work since my last post. I got FORScan! That is one handy program! I determined that EGT12 was reading full scale. Had it replaced under warranty! Now, I still get the message that I need to drive it to clean the filter. First day I drove it long enough to get the message that the filter cleaning process was completed (twice). Just as soon as I get the "clean" message, it goes right back to needing to drive to clean the filter. So, for the last two weeks, it's been cleaning the heck out of the DPF. I'm starting to wonder if one of the sensors that checks DP across the filter is out to lunch. Thoughts?

Maybe the DPF pressure sensor is malfunctioning showing high pressure like your DPF is clogged up?
