How could it not change the actual miles traveled when changing the tire diameter.
Denny
Using that logic, how could the speedo be 3 mph off and the odo work correctly to begin with?
Again, I've adjusted the tire size and checked speed and distance; numerous others have done the same thing and confirmed it as well. Indicated speed agrees with the GPS and the odo indicates the correct distance over a 200 mile trip I took.
You should try it instead of disputing everything. Worst thing that happens is you end up restoring the as-built configuration with your stock settings.

The speedometer is off because the indicator is in the wrong position, you can tell because its off at 10 mph and 65 mph the same 2 mph.
If you keep the same tire and tell the computer that it has a different rolling diameter it will throw off odometer because of the distance the tire covers with each revolution.
