Speedo Fast by 3-4 mph

I noticed the other day that my speedo was fast by 3-4 mph when I went through a speed trap that had a reader board with the speed posted. I took in to dealer to check it out. They agreed that it is off but that it is within tolerance. What's up with that?

Anyone else noticed the same thing? Will odometer be off as well?

BTW no tire mods have been made.

absolutely, you are adding 3-4 MILES per hour of operation. The dealer should fix it. are you under warranty?
if you drove your truck two hours a day (8 miles) times 365 days a year = 2920 additional miles on your odometer a year -Jaseun

The dealer may fix it but I know when I had my speedo recallibrated I asked about accuracy. The S.A. told me FORD had a speedo accuracy tolerance I believe around 10%. I was kind of shocked it would be that high. He might be full of it but he said thats what they are allowed to be out from the factory. Made me wonder why I paid to have the recal. done if this is their tolerance.
