Leveling kits and shocks

First post on the forum. I did do a search but there are so many threads to look through. I’m wanting to level my ‘17 F250 diesel 4x4. Do I need to change the factory shocks or can I keep them on? Also for those of you that have leveled your truck and pull trailers does it make your truck squat with the weight of the trailer? I have a 24’ boat and it’s pretty heavy and it does make my truck squat a little bit with the factory suspension and rake. In my opinion the boat trailer is tongue heavy but the trailer manufacturer doesn’t think so. I’m not really into having a huge jacked up truck with wheels that stick out and sling mud and road debris all over the side of the truck. Just want it to look clean and perform as it should. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I did Readylift on my F250, very happy with the fit and finish, and for me it's perfectly level. They come with a track bar drop bracket, spacers for the shocks and sway bar, and drop brackets for your lines. Very nice kit.

Measure your fender well clearance (front and rear) on level ground, and then find out how much your truck drops in the rear when hooked up to the boat. This will help you decide which kit to buy. With my 10k lb trailer I sit level, empty apprx. 3/4" higher in the rear. The kit I bought included the shock extensions to use the factory ones. Here is the kit I bought.

Went with the 2.5" Readylift level spacers and track bar bracket. Posted to forum and was recommended and actually called Readylift directly and spoke to a agent that was awesome. Told him everything he recommended which kit would be best and explained why others would work but would not best best esp since adding snow plow and have prep package. Great experience all around and they even do military/first responder discounts if order via phone! Have not had a trailer yet on the truck to weigh in on that part yet.

I also did the ready lift 2.5 with fox shocks. Sits perfect to me and only drops about 2in with my 28 ft. bumper pull with no bars attached. I could have used stock shocks with no issues.

I have a RCLB and wouldn't have attempted an auto wash before or after. Only one I'll do is the manual wash bays. These trucks are TALL.

These are the stock tires on your truck correct? I was thinking of getting this ready lift kit. I just got a 17 with only 7k miles and can't justify new tires just yet.I was worried it would look bad without the larger tires. I think your truck looks great though. I'm thinking 35s or 37s for me.

Carli commuter 2.5" level with fox 2.0's all the way around. Huge improvement over stock!

We also used the 2.5" ReadyLift kit. But my installer also added a small spacer with it (from a GM IFS) kit that is not quite 1/4" thick. I used an adjustable track bar which allowed us to perfectly center the front axle. The truck is almost perfectly level now.
