Ordering 2020 SD Actual DATES????

I bought my wife a 2019 Edge in Ruby Red and we really like the color. However finding a 2019 SD in that color is a challenge. Most of the dealer stock is in "contractor white". I will be ordering a 450 in Rapid Red, I want the 10-speed.

Among what has been said here new injectors, new turbo, new fuel pump. Courtesy of that google thing .
"The updated 2020 Power Stroke includes a new 36,000-psi fuel injection system with all-new injectors that Super Duty Chief Engineer Mike Pruitt says more precisely meter and spray up to eight times per stroke to control noise levels and optimize combustion. The engine features a redesigned electronic-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger for improved pumping efficiency and throttle response. Worth noting is that Ford used a new turbo, new injector nozzles and exhaust improvements to squeeze out 40 more horsepower and 80 more lb. ft. of torque for the 2015 model year, achieving power output of 440 hp / 860 lb. ft. torque.
Pruitt says structural enhancements for the 2020 engine increase the strength of the cylinder head, block, connecting rods and bearings to handle the higher cylinder pressure and increased output. New steel pistons provide higher firing pressure capability and less friction for added performance, more horsepower and torque."

Awesome. I've looked at that color on the explorers and like it as well. Ive now contacted 3 dealers and all 3 state that orders can not be entered into the system until mid September.

I have also contacted two local dealers, neither one of them seems to be able to get into the system. One of them did have a pdf copy of a price list though, but not able to place an order yet. I hope to get my new truck for Christmas. (this year). I wonder if Ford is delaying the ordering to clear 2019 MY inventory...

Fleet manager told me today that it would be August 29th before he could get me trade numbers on a Super Duty, and realistically September 3rd before I would hear from him with that being Labor Day weekend.

I did hear back from one dealer with pricing. The Base MSRP on a 2020 F-450 Limited, Crew Cab, 8' box, 6.7L Power Stroke, 10-speed and 4.30 axel is $90,530. The base on a 2019 was $83,090. However several options on the 2019 are now standard on the 2020 F-450 including the 5th wheel prep. The individual options appear to be the same price for both MYs. He also said that he still can not place an order.
