So I placed an order on an a 17 F250 6.2 CCLB last Thursday and there is still nothing showing on the tracking page. My dealer provided me with the order number and their dealer code and I thought something would be showing by now. How long did it take for your orders to start to show on the tracking system? I asked ford chat the status and all they could tell me was that the order was in process. Thanks!
ordered 7/22 and still in processing status.
Things to consider
your order priority. mine is 11 10 is best
does your dealer have any open allocations
how many SD orders are in front of yours
are there any commodity constraints
Hope this helps shed some light. Hope to get mine scheduled next week.
The first time I looked online was 7/25........it was "in processing" in COTUS (ETA 9/14) and it was also in ETIS
After a few days the ETA in COTUS moved to 9/9
On 8/8 it moved in COTUS to "In Production"
On 8/9 I was able to see the window sticker
This appears to be a pretty typical schedule........ although........ no 2 schedules appear to be the same. There is a spreadsheet where a number of people have their dates stored (see link below). I will try and post it here to help some others.
The most amazing thing is that although COTUS, ETIS, and WindowSticker all provide some information, they all seem to work different for everyone. Some people seem to receive their truck and never show up in ETIS and are never able to view a WindowSticker. It just seems to be a little different for everyone.
How are you guys searching in ETIS? Do you have to have a VIN? I have an order number and dealer code thus far. No VIN.
Yes. On ETIS page you click on the vehicle lookup tab. There you put in your VIN to view your order.
I simply got the dealer to send me a copy of the order receipt (DORA = dealer order receipt ?? ) . I requested via txt message. Salesman took a picture of order receipt and texted to me. On that order receipt is the order # (xxxx) and dealer # (xxxxxx). I used those 2 #'s to look up my order in COTUS. COTUS will show your VIN#. COTUS only works for F250s. All 350s up will have to get Vin from dealer as far as I know.
Hope this helps!! BTW..... When I ordered my truck I had no clue either. I finally searched for Ford COTUS and ETIS and figured it all out.
Once you get close to your build date or after.... You can view your window sticker here.

The VIN for both vehicles in my driveway show up as not issued yet
Thanks!!! Not to unusual for your window sticker not t show up. Seems most do, but I've read where others have taken delivery and there WS never showed up. I've also tried to pull WS up on units sitting on dealer lots that do show up. Anyway, most will show up.
This is an old post in the F150forum.com but the information was of value to me and still seems to be valid. It helped me set communication expectations with my dealer right from the beginning. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/order...lained-291912/
