yes i use my truck to pull dump trailers of fire wood logs should have a bigger truck sure but i got so much time and money in restoreing this one

Ford also put that transmission (E4OD) in F-250s and F-350s so that shouldn’t be the weak link.

How exactly did it explode? Are there parts in the pan or did it just quit working?

A computer that runs an E4OD WILL NOT run an AODE. You must have a computer for an AODE.

Transmission shifts have to be timed very precisely and with the correct pressure. The timing and pressures for an E4OD will most likely destroy an AODE.
