I don't know what to do anymore I have a 1995 f150 5.8 351 Windsor I've put a total of 3 PCM xinit I got the truck I got it for two hundred bucks for my brother he had to go get off the side of the road he had been driving it it started sputtering somehow it automatically started windshield wipers and spray and windshield wiper fluid on the windshield by itself then it died now I got it and I put 3 PCMS in it and every time I put one in it it cranks it up and runs for like 20 minutes maybe and then it dies and won't crank back up unless you have the spout connector out and I'm spraying gas in the throttle body this is driving me crazy absolutely crazy I don't know Ford mechanic or nothing but I try to take care of my own vehicles if anybody can help would be greatly appreciated thank you all have God blessed day
That sounds a lot more like crossed and shorting wires than 3 bad PCMs in a row. I would start looking at the wiring harness from the firewall out looking for wear points.
Up under my dash I'm not sure what it is but the PCM is were good to start with but the truck burnt them up and I thought I was supposed to burn the relay up first
I've been finding all kinds of crazy wiring in my truck. Trying to find all the weak spots is a joke. I'm adding extra grounding points as failsafes against 30 year old wiring. I eventually need to completely remove my dash and really have at 'er and do it right.
I'm not really sure what to 05 means I'm just looking for like a wiring diagram to the black plug this right beside the PCM on cab side and the firewall side like if I had some kind of diagram cuz there's one wire burn up in that little section and that's the only burnt wire that I can find other than that everything looks to be pretty good but I'm not sure what that plug in is called I can take a picture of it if needed actually I'm going to go do that right now
