Truck stalling
Truck stalling
Hello all i hope i am on the right section in this forum but here goes. I have a 99 ford f350 7.3l that keeps stalling every time i turn pn the wipers. It's rained for several days. And as long as i don't leave the wipers on the truck runs perfect but if i leave them on it spiys and sputters and then stalls. Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks in advanced
Sounds like you have a bad ground. High humidity is making the ‘poor’ ground a ‘bad’ ground. Locate every chassis and engine ground, remove and wire brush to make a clean metal-on-metal contact. Check condition of negative batter cable, might have heavy corrosion under the sheathing.

The windshield seals have been known to leak. Take a look at the firewall under the dash and see if you can see any moisture intrusion. I would start with the driver's side since you are having electrical issues.
I cant remember if theres a harness that runs near the wiper transmission, but I have seen it on several vehicles that the wiring harness that runs near the wiper trans can fall on it and eventually wear through creating the stall while using wipers
