I've usually reused them on other builds but yeah I agree for $25 I bought those falcon ones... Just over $200 for peace of mind on the valve springs. I'm kind of excited to get them done, not super excited to do them in truck.. hah
Well we started in on putting the motor back in yesterday evening and she’s installed and started up on about the 5th crank cycle which we were super pumped about.
Coolant leak at the top top water pump tube so redoing that but otherwise nothing seems to be glaringly off. Efuel is super nice that for sure.
We are getting a small amount of black oil pushing out throw the exhaust manifold bolts but I assume that’s due to pulling the injectors, anyone agree?
Tomorrow we’ll be topping off all fluids and get her rolling and see if she can work out the air.
RiffRaff gets it packed and “shipped” very quickly so I don't think it’s them, more ups and the west to east coast route. Took 5 days (over weekend) to go fro OR to IL! Shipping isn’t cheap either so I’m not sure.
Maybe I should look for a shop closer to me. Regardless, it should be delivered tmw.
