Well she is on her way back together. Doing the springs and injector orings now then it all starts to bolt back in.

Found an an interesting thing on the springs, all bare heights were 1.84 so we are replacing the valve seals and calling in a day, should give us around 100lb seat pressure.

Picked up all new ac components too and a SS brake line kit and the SS tranny lines too from inline.

got all the parts, not she just need to get back in and start - that’ll be the challenge!

Ha, it does exist I swear!

Heads are done and the turbo is back on. Time to focus on the engine bay and get things ready to bolt her back in.

Thanks, nothing is tight yet but they do look sharp! Hopefully I won’t have to worry about them for a while.

OEM on the harness for now

How necessary is it to replace the valve spring locks? I've been searching for an hour and can't find an OEM set. Aftermarket? There's a couple eBay jobbers.

Looks superb!!!!

Man just stay OEM on the harnesses. You'll be rid of the truck before new ones go bad again. Some of these SD upgrades are over rated IMO.

You could see some wear on ours. I wasn’t able to find OEM so we went with the “falcon” ones from eBay, they seem fine. $25

and Byron, I’m not looking to change it now, we don’t run her hard and it’s a spare vehicle so I’m always happy to take it down for repairs/upgrades as we need
