Hello, new to forum. Got me a transmission issue. I have a 2011 built 09-2010
I have a shift flare from 3rd gear to 4th and down from 3rd to 2nd. Only when the transmission is cold (mornings only) doesn't do it the rest of the day, once the transmission warms up.
From what I have read I need to replace the (3) high solenoids. I think I am capable of doing this. Couple questions.
I won't know which band number they are until I pull them? Is that correct?
Also my main question is do I need to re-program the PCM and TCM after I replace them?
Any good recommendations on where to get the solenoids?
Thanks in advance
Brian
Had the same issue with my truck a few yrs ago. After taking it to the dealer twice they finally figured the problem out. The dealer replaced solenoids and reflashed the transmission.

Hey DeeDubz,
Can you give me an idea on what they charged you? My local Ford dealership here wants $ 1,200 to service the Transmission, replace the 3 high solenoids and I assume reflash the transmission but not sure on that. Seemed high to me.
Thanks
Brian
