SB vs LB
SB trucks outsell LB trucks by a huge margin. My local dealer doesn’t like to take LB trucks in trade because there are very few people who will buy them, thus hurting resale. Myself? I’ll never buy a LB again, unless it’s another DRW. The long box looks perfect and proportional with the DRW fenders. Looks totally out of proportion without them in SRW configuration. JMO.
You can’t go wrong either way as long as it’s the right choice for YOU.
. When I lived in a city and didn't need a truck I owned a Porsche and other german cars. Close in price to these things, and as much as people like showing off their shiny trucks, a buffed and waxed 911S Cab took all the stares. Now I have trailers and work construction and not only want but do need the 8' and extra stability of the LWB. One route back to my house includes navigating 4 narrow switch backs, up 800 ft, with tight turns. The turning radius seems to be less than a couple of feet more than the F150 CCLB (6.5') and really doesn't feel that much different. When I traded in my '12 CCLB to a dealer in Denver 2 years ago they commented that the LB is what people are looking for in their area.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😜😜😜
